FieldCap PHX Exporter — supplementary document for the Chrome extension and related tooling in this repository.

Privacy

This software is designed so that sensitive operational data stays under your control. In normal use:

• Credentials. The browser extension does not collect, store, or transmit login passwords or API keys for FieldCap. It relies on your existing, logged-in FieldCap session in the browser—the same session you already use when viewing FieldCap in Chrome.
• Where data goes. Exports are written as files on your computer (for example through the browser’s download folder). The companion Excel workbook and CSV files you generate are stored wherever you choose on your device or network.
• Network use. The extension communicates only with FieldCap / PHX-related hosts needed to read data you already have access to in your session (for example OData endpoints). It does not send your data to servers operated by the authors of this repository.
• No analytics bundle. This project does not embed third-party analytics, advertising trackers, or telemetry aimed at measuring your usage.
• Browser permissions. Chrome permissions requested by the extension (such as downloads, storage, and access to PHX domains) exist to save files and operate only while you use the tool—not to ship data to unrelated sites.

You are responsible for how exported CSVs and spreadsheets are shared, emailed, or archived. Treat exports like any other drilling or crew documentation subject to your employer’s policies and applicable laws.
